I specialize treating depression, anxiety, and transition challenges which typically manifest through relationship, career, and academic problems. We will work on creating insight and positive change in your life.
I received my Master’s in Psychotherapy par les Arts from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. During my graduate work, I received a research assistantship with The Center for Arts in Human Development; and completed clinical internships at Maimonides Hospital and Batshaw Family Services. I hold certifications in cross -cultural Mental Health practices from McGill University’s Transcultural Psychiatry.
Research is an important component of furthering both our ideas and measurables in mental health care. I am a co-researcher with the Biography Laboratory Project; a multi-year action research project investigating postmodern approaches in therapy. Recent interviews on the Biography Lab publications are archived at University of London.
Health and wellness applies to organizations as well. I have worked as an organizational leader and trainer with Concordia University’s Summer Institute in Community Development, and multiple State of Wisconsin Departments and Agencies.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Wisconsin.
